How does a sportsman work?

Kia ora everybody! Today I will be presenting my explanation writing on how does a sportsman work. Enjoy my piece of writitng!

An awesome sportsman a person that is competitive, positive and respects others in all sports. They are good supporters towards their teammates and any opposing teams. And also sportsmanship is when a person is a good communicator towards their teammates by giving them clear directions and instructions

One way an awesome sports person works is by encouraging their teammates and any opposing team. So that they can be respectful and awesome competitors in whatever sports they are playing. And also their team and other teams can play fairly in the sport. It can also make others feel appreciated.

Another way an awesome sportsperson works is by being a good communicator by giving them clear instructions & directions to what the play is so that they can understand the instructions & directions given to them.

One more way an awesome sports person works is by having a positive attitude on an off the court so they can become better athletes in the sport. They can become a better supporter and encourage others to be an awesome sportsman.

Have you been to Waitangi?

Kia ora everyone, today I will be presenting my recount on going to Waitangi to see the prime ministers speech and other stuff. Enjoy my piece of writing!

It was a warm, sunny Monday morning on February 5th, me, my sister and Rena where driving to Waitangi. I was so excited to see the prime minister do her speech at Waitangi. A short while later we had arrived at Waitangi, there were truck loads of people there. So then we parked up and waited for the school to arrive.

Shortly after that the school had arrived so we walked hover to them  and joined up with them. I went with my class and my sister went with her class. After that me and my class went to see the powhiri for the prime minister.

A few minutes later me and my class were there at the powhiri and  right away I shouted out “I see the prime minister!, I see the prime minister!”

A few moments later I saw Kanoa Lloyd from the Project. When I met her she was one of the nicest person I have met. After that Some people from my class got interviewed from Maori television. After some people got interviewed My and some people from my class  said “Kia ora Jacinda” on Maori television.

Finally the prime minister started her speech. She was talking about her childhood and her memories going to Waitangi as she was a kid and some other things. When the prime minister finished her speech the whole class went down to the waka area. When we got there my step mother Rena and my sister Sarah-Jane were walking down to the waka area. After that we all went home. I was so exhausted at the time I could almost drop and fall asleep.

Are you a bucket filler?

W.A.L.T choose actions that helps our classroom to be happy and safe. So today i'm presenting my explanation writing on bucket filling. So I hope you enjoy my writing and become a bucket filler today!

How Does A Bucket filler work?

Everyone in the world carries an invisible bucket just like you and me. So anyone is able to put kind thoughts and good feelings into anyone else's bucket. So this is an explanation of the process of bucket filling and how it works.
So anyone one can fill anyone else’s bucket with kind thoughts and good feelings right? So when you be a bucket filler you fill up the other person’s bucket and your bucket get filled up as well. So for example you show manaakitanga to the speaker. That shows that you’re being a good listener because you showed respect to the speaker and that would fill their bucket, your bucket, and also it can help others to become good listeners and bucket fillers too. By being a bucket filler it can make that person’s day.

Manaakitanga can be shown to others by helping, supporting, or playing with others and including them in a game of basketball. That means caring about other people, filling their buckets and also it is helping others to show manaakitanga and fill buckets. There are so many ways you can be a bucket filler. Another thing is that by filling another person’s bucket it could help them be successful in their life because you are filling their bucket with kind thoughts and good feelings. They can also be encouraged to fill other people’s buckets up. So that is how a bucket filler works.

So filling other people’s buckets with kind thoughts and good feelings can have an amazing and wonderful effect on every person in the whole entire world!
