My next step is to learn more about descriptive language.

I have a basic understanding of descriptive language but I still have to learn more.

The Wonderful, The Amazing cave

On a cloudy day me, Kim and the two dogs went for a long long walk to this amazing cave.

Finally we arrived at the trail. Adrenaline ran through my body as we were walking up the trail. I was sooo excited to see this cave that Kim was blabing  about. But as we were walking there was heaps of obstacles like really slippery mud and little rivers to cross. “Mud and little streams of water ain't going to stop me getting to this cave” I said. But when we were going further up the trail it got even harder.

We eventually ended up at a dead end. “Oh man were at a dead end” I said with dread. My head went down. I was sad as a person that lost their animal. I was about to go on my knees and cry.  But then a Fellow person came and asked “are you trying to get to the cave” the person asked. “Yes we are” We replied. “Just follow the trail I just came from” The person replied. “Okay” Kim said. so me, Kim and the two dogs went to walk the trail that the person came from. “We are almost there” I shouted with heaps of excitement.

Finally we are at the cave. Excitement was bubbling up inside me.  “Hooray! We have reached the cave” I screamed As I stood there with excitement.  “This cave is amazing” I Jumped up and down like a crazy kangaroo. “Look at this view amazing view” Kim said. “Yeah it’s a amazing view!” My eyes lit up with joy.  “Also its a amazing cave too” I said. “Yeah it is a really cool cave” Kim said. “Well,  do you want to go back now” Kim asked me. “Yip I think it’s time to go back home before it rains” I replied. So we walked back to the car. But as we were almost at the car there was slippery slimy mud all over the ground. But then.. I slipped over into the slippery slimy mud. “Yuck Yuck Yuck!” Grossness all over me. “Haha Thats funny” Kim Laughed like a monkey. “Well, I guess it’s funny that I slipped into the mud. I said. Kim was muddy too and the two dogs were covered in mud. So as I got into the car I covered the seat in mud Kim and the dogs got the seats muddy too. But Kim wasn’t covered in that much mud. Then I had a shower when I got back to my mums house. Her Reaction was sooo hilarious to see.  when I was covered in mud.

I thought walking to this cave was an amazing experience and it’s good exercise too. We faced a lot of obstacles like slippery mud and little slippery rivers to cross. I very very much enjoyed that time I went for a long long walk  and I also got covered in mud too. Also kim ( Mum’s partner)  got muddy and the two dogs did too. We all got covered in mud. Did you visit any caves? Any wonderful and amazing caves.

It's not good feeling sick

     It’s Not Good felling sick

Last week I was sick. it’s such a horrible feeling being sick.  “Uhhg!“ I moaned. “I'm sick!” I said. “Well, you better stay home,” dad said to me. “Okay dad I will stay in bed” I replied.

“I hate being sick!” I screamed. “ I don’t want to be in bed” I said. “Well you have to stay home to get better” Rena said to me. “Okay” I replied. I had a bit of a sore throat. It was like I was being choked. It was not a good feeling at all.   

“This is going to be boring just staying in my bed! All day long” I said to myself.  “I am  just going to be stuck in bed all day” I said. “ It’s going to be boring” I said quietly to myself. I felt so Horrible that I just had to stayed in bed For the whole day or for the week.

Rena cooked a chicken soup to make me feel better. “Yummy yummy this chicken soup is delicious” I said “That's good” Rena replied. “Hopefully this chicken soup works” I said. “I’m just going to go back to sleep and hopefully I get better” I said to myself.

What I thought was that it was not a good feeling being sick. I missed out on a whole week of school. How crazy is that? And missing out on the class speech. Also that chicken soup was delicious and helped to get my better. So for next time I will try not to get sick again. I will wear warm clothes to not get sick and stay dry.

  

Dance

In our class we are learning about the elements of dance. The dance elements are body awareness, space and time. The ideas I like dancing to are the freeze frames, growing and darting. We are making a class dance. Our dance is going to be about  E-Waste. 

What Is E-Waste and Electronics?

So, E-Waste is electronic waste. It’s a worldwide problem. How does it become E-waste? Well, electronics become out of fashion, obsolete or it breaks. The electronics that have gone out of fashion like the old mac computers and many many more. These electronics are out of fashion now and they are so obsolete that you can’t even use them now. Which means it becomes useless. That’s two ways they becomes E-Waste. The other way it becomes E-waste is that it breaks then,  you take it to the dump and buy a brand brand new one. That’s just making more and more E-waste. It’s just an increasing amount of electronics going to the tip (the dump). Now, electronics in our days our designed for the dump. Electronics  don’t last very long. It’s just an endless amount of E-Waste going to the dump. Company’s need to stop this problem NOW.

Sentence DLO. Simple, Compound And Complex Sentences.

I am learning to teach others what I know about about simple, compound and complex sentences and create a DLO to explain what those sentences are. The tool I used to create this digital learning object was google slides. The hard part of creating this DLO was explaining what the type of sentence a simple, compound and  complex sentence is. Also what was hard was actually was making up the sentences. I still enjoyed making the DLO. Enjoy the DLO I made explaining what simple, compound and complex sentences.
